Hello, I’m Joanne
I'm Joanne Hedley, a qualified counsellor offering a warm, compassionate and trauma-informed approach to adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, with specialist experience working with adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, trauma, relationship difficulties, bereavement, addiction and other life challenges.
My counselling approach is warm, compassionate and trauma-informed. I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I aim to provide a safe, confidential space where you can explore your experiences without judgement.
Alongside my private practice, I work within specialist addiction services, supporting people in recovery and those affected by a loved one's addiction. This experience continues to enrich my practice and informs my work with clients experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
Whether you're taking your first steps towards counselling or returning after time away, you'll be welcomed with warmth, compassion and without judgement. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you.
